Most orders ship within 5 to 7 business days. Because our canvases are hand-painted, some designs take a little longer during busy seasons. If you need a canvas sooner, email hello@evahoward.com and we will do our best to expedite it.

Yes. Orders over $250 ship free, and the discount is applied automatically at checkout.

Not at this time. We hope to offer international shipping in the future, so join our email list to hear when that changes.

Our canvases are hand-painted on 13 mesh or 18 mesh, and the mesh count is listed on each product page. Mesh count is the number of holes per inch. 13 mesh stitches up faster with thicker thread, and 18 mesh holds finer detail, which makes it a great starting point for most stitchers.

Each listing is for the hand-painted canvas itself. Thread and needles are not included unless the product page says otherwise, since most stitchers have their own thread preferences.

Not currently. We are building thread recommendations for each design so you can shop the right colors with confidence. In the meantime, email hello@evahoward.com and we are happy to suggest threads.

A hand-painted canvas has the design painted directly on the mesh, so you stitch over the printed colors. A chart is a printed pattern you follow to stitch the design onto blank canvas yourself. Charts are a lower-cost way to enjoy a design if you are comfortable working from a pattern.

Start with an 18 mesh canvas, a tapestry needle, your thread of choice, and a small pair of scissors, then learn the basketweave stitch. Our Learn blog has an in-depth beginner guide, starter stitches, and finishing tips to walk you through your first project step by step.

At minimum you need a canvas, thread, a tapestry needle, and scissors. Many stitchers also add a stretcher bar frame or a laying tool as they go. Our Learn blog breaks down the full beginner supply list.
