Canvas painting is a labor of love and a true passion for many stitchers. Here's how I got started and a behind the scenes look at what goes into the process.
How it Started
Welcome! My name is Sydney and I am the founder and designer behind Eva Howard Designs. Founded back in 2019, Eva Howard was started from a passion for stitching and gap in the market for modern and colorful designs. After posting designs on instagram for a few months my business took off and I have been creating canvases ever sense. Thank you for letting me share this hobby with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Our Process
Designing needlepoint canvases is a true labor of love. Each design is painted to the exact stitch and can take anywhere from 3 to 8 plus hours to paint. This creates a "paint by numbers" type of experience when stitching making it a very relaxing and rewarding hobby. This is why many needle pointers refer to their stitching as a sort of meditation. It is often the first thing they reach for after a busy work day.
